UglyFlakes Affiliate Program Terms Last updated: October 20, 2026 These terms are an agreement between you and Lost Coast Signs & Swag of Eureka, California, which runs UglyFlakes ("UglyFlakes," "we," "us"). By applying to the program you agree to them. 1. Joining Anyone 18 or older can apply at uglyflakes.com/affiliates/join. We review every application by hand and may approve or decline anyone for any reason. Once approved, you get a personal affiliate code, a share link, and a dashboard. Keep your login private. You're responsible for anything done with your account. 2. The deal The current customer discount and commission rates are always shown at uglyflakes.com/affiliates and in your dashboard. At launch they are: - Your fans get 10% off shirts on orders of 10 or more shirts when they use your code or share link. - You earn commission on every paid order made with your code or link, set by the order's total shirt count: 20% on 1 to 9 shirts, 15% on 10 to 24, 12% on 25 to 49, and 10% on 50 or more. Commission is figured on the shirt subtotal after all discounts. It doesn't include shipping, tax, stickers, awards, or other add-ons. We may change the rates for future orders. Orders already placed keep the rate they earned. 3. Referral credit Someone who clicks your share link is credited to you for 30 days. If a customer uses another affiliate's code, the code wins. Each order credits one affiliate only. 4. When commission is paid Commission starts as pending. It unlocks 14 days after the order ships. Refunded, canceled, charged-back, or fraudulent orders earn nothing, and commission already credited for them is reversed. You can withdraw unlocked commission once your balance reaches $25. Payouts go through Stripe, so you'll need to finish Stripe's payout setup, including any identity and tax information Stripe asks for. You're responsible for your own taxes. Balances under $25 are paid in the final payout after the season ends. 5. Free-sweater rebate If we offer it to you: buy a sweater at full price, then sell 12 shirts through your code or link by December 15, 2026, and we'll refund that sweater. Miss the date and the sale stands. 6. The season This season ends January 20, 2027. After that, codes stop working and we run the final payout. We'll email you if the program comes back next season. 7. No self-referrals You can't earn on your own orders, orders paid with your own card, or orders from your own household or business. These are flagged and earn nothing. Don't create extra accounts or fake orders. 8. How you promote us - Be honest. Tell your audience you earn a commission, for example with #ad or "I earn from this link." The FTC requires it. - Don't spam: no unsolicited email, mass DMs, comment bombing, or fake reviews. - Don't bid on "UglyFlakes" or similar words in search or social ads, and don't use domains, handles, or pages that look like ours. - Don't promise discounts, prices, or delivery dates we don't offer. - Don't post your code on coupon or deal sites. - Keep your content legal and suitable for a holiday-sweater audience: no hate, harassment, adult content, or anything that infringes someone else's rights. You may use our name, logo, and product photos only to promote UglyFlakes, and only while you're an approved affiliate. 9. Pausing and ending You can quit any time by emailing us. We can pause or end your account at any time, especially if you break these terms. If we end it for fraud, spam, or self-referrals, unpaid commission is forfeited. Otherwise, commission you've already earned on valid orders is still paid on the normal schedule. 10. The fine print You're an independent affiliate, not our employee, agent, or partner. We don't guarantee any amount of sales or earnings. We aren't responsible for lost profits or indirect damages, and our total liability to you is limited to the unpaid commission you've earned. We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here and email you about major changes. If you keep promoting us after that, you accept the new terms. California law governs these terms.
